Faculty Bio

Heidy Palacios serves as the Program Director and Assistant Professor for the Nuclear Medicine Program for the College of Health Professions. Dedicated professional with over 10 years of clinical and healthcare experience at Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital in New York as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. She later assumed a leadership role as Manager of the Nuclear Medicine Department. She served as an affiliate clinical preceptor for Manhattan College’s Nuclear Medicine Program. Prior to her current role, Heidy served as Program Director and instructor of the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program at Manhattan College. The Manhattan College NMT program closed in 2023. She holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Strategic Healthcare Management from Hofstra University, 2022.
